I loved this album:
Kick ass!
I bought this used at the Lost Chord in Mankato when I was in HS. Was shocked to see they were an all-white band--signed to Motown, no less.
I'm with you guys. Loved Rare Earth.
I've always admired singing drummers. Except Don Henley. F#$@ that guy.
Inasmuch as I played drums but no way could I have sung at the same time and why you mad, Phil Collins seriously that's going to haunt me yikes.
i played a little too and agree full-heartedly. that said, i have a strange aversion to drummer/singers, and i can't say why.
If he sang out of key,
Would you get up and walk out on him?
with a little help from his friends, sure.
I never understood how (late) Phil Collins music could use a drum machine. Seriously, Phil?!
It's in the air tonight.
I think its because he has arthritis.
OMG, a drummer would prefer a drum machine over giving another drummer employment?
ooooh, I see what you are getting at.
