Enns is the 31st pitcher according to Bremer. The Pirate's percentage drops a little bit.
I'm going on Tuesday, so maybe I'll get the rare Busenitz sighting then.
Hit parade!
On the board!
E5
I am enjoying Polanco's slow march back to a respectable OPS.
I'd like to see Joe's march (slow or fast) back to Mauerian levels
Really wouldn't mind being able to watch this one. Stupid blackout.
That's where having my dad's comcast login comes in handy. The fox sports app isn't blacked out.
You can take some comfort in knowing that you didn't have to see two of the worst bunt attempts in the history of the game, at least.
I am curious if Polanco tagged up when Santana first touched the ball or when he finally caught it.
Tagging runner only has to wait for first touch, not catch
Yes, so I learned recently. That's why I'm curious.
Enn's with no Ks yet - he's a Twin!
Well, technically he does have one strikeout.
heh
RBI Buxton!
Hit parade x2!
I like this Twins team that gets hits and drives in runs. I think Molitor should tell them to do more of that.
Everybody wants to get into the act!
500/500/500 slash line!
Enns out of gas after the running around.
Bases-loaded walk.
TWINS BASEBALL!!!
It ends for Enns.
But, Busenitz sighting!
All Ns, no Ks
Geez, we don't want Broxton up - this series would REALLY be bleak for the Brewers without his bat - he's got our number
Socal, your guy Busenitz is in!
That worked out rather well.
Nice play by Sano!
I approve of that double play.
Time for more runs
I may be the only person who even remembers him, but Cory, it's not Hal HAYdel, it's Hal HayDEL.
Nope, I remember him too. heyDELL, very early 70s
Polanco wants all the hits, didnt even give Buxton a chance to steal
Random thing: Remember back in 2005 Jesse Crain, strictly a relief pitcher, had 17 decisions (12 wins 5 losses). I suppose 18 if you count his 1 save.
Also, he only struck out 25 batters in 79.2 IP (2.8 k/9). holy cows.
So weird. 7.4 K/9 for his career.
Busenitz possibly in line for his first win o-0
Dick Bremer sideswipes Kevin Slowly because Anthony Swarzak is pitching.... DRINK
At least there it would be pretty difficult to piece together the reference. We caught it, but I'm sure it went over the head of most. A few years ago, he wouldn't even try to hide it.
Ooh, another dig against Slowey by Bremer.
Meanwhile, Provus was doing a pretty convincing Uecker impression (and a halfway decent Dazzle).
It was a tough third inning, but all's well that Enns well.
