I had a good vote lately. How about everyone else?

I'm working from home today so I don't have to drive all the way back here during lunch to vote. Gonna drop my son off at school and head to city hall.
I must admit today is going to provide a lot of anxiety. Polls are showing we'll finally be rid of the dip shit we currently have, but peeps still gotta get out there and mark it down for it to happen.
Today is the public referendum on whether I stay in this broken nuke storage cask of a state.
It felt good to fill in that oval. Also, Edgerton is hilariously top-of-the-alphabet heavy. It was 30 deep for A-L but I walked right to the front for M-Z.
We do roads here. After years of using my name, had a sudden panic trying to remember address and determining which table to head to. The lack of line forced me to quickly remember and choose. I also missed not just signing my name and instead was interrogated about "proper identification".
Dropped off my early ballot a month ago. Love not standing in line for hours!!!
But no "I Voted" sticker. π«
Oh, yes. They sent me an "I Voted" sticker along with my ballot. I saved it and I'm proudly sportin' it today.
What the hell? Socialist California sent no such sticker with my absentee ballot! Where's my free stuff? I was promised free stuff!
I got one. Guess you should move southward. It's definitely worth moving to get a free sticker once a year, right?
When I voted absentee in 1998 (because college), I didn't get a sticker. Lousy Brown County.
You have options to leave your swamp of nacho cheese state? Iβd like to think my neighbors in this state werenβt dim witted, but the evidence strongly suggests otherwise.
On a different note, I applied for a job in said cheesy swamp.
I applied for a job in said cheesy swamp.
Whoa, what?!
Well, more like Milwaukee
I'm not sure if this would be a good or bad thing for me. π
Very cool. If you get to the point where you're considering something, let me know. That said, perhaps tonight makes up your mind for you... (I really, really hope not, but I'm sick to my stomach right now.)
So my kid has worked as the main GOTV coordinator for the Tim Walz Governor campaign since Labor Day of 2017. Fourth person hired on the entire campaign and two before him have left. I won't tell you to vote for Walz, but think of me. Charlie is still living at home and he needs a permanent job so that he can move out. #getcharlieoutofthehouse
Where do I get one of those sweet lumberjack shirts?
I think we all know the answer is "with Minnesota citizenship."
They can issue you one at a local Target.
Seriously...saw them on a mannequin this morning. Well, not with the MN embroidery...
Why stop at a shirt?
Now I want to know which group has registered that tartan.
Also, if you're undecided, I would be grateful if you didn't vote for the guy who says he has a secret list of my colleagues (and, who knows, possibly me) he plans to immediately fire if elected.

Probably need to make a WGOM fiver for Free to post

*knock knock*
I had to walk my parents past Muslim antipathy to read the background on the other guy, but that swung them.
Just as long as they didn't watch the debate. That would have assured a third party vote.
I was vote #86 at 8:15am. I would say people in my small town have been getting out and voting. Im looking forward to Election Judge this afternoon.
As a highschooler, I got to call in our township results to one of the news combines. Couldn't have been many more than two dozen voters
Wow.
#110 at 10:45. There's 3 precincts feeding into our machine, total population thereof is ~1,100. So 10% of our population had voted already.
We're at 138.
I was #102 at 7:25
Hey, look, it's a view of AMR's office building and my building! Oh, and some sort of winged creature in the foreground.
One of the funniest things about election judging to me is that organizations will come and bring food for the judges , but only for the judges of the same political party. For example, we had Republican pizza and Democratic sammiches. We just put everything in the back for whoever, but I always think it's weird.
Wow, that's weird. (Also, I guess I didn't realize election judges had a party affiliation, though I suppose and equal number from each party keeps things fair...)
I'm sure every state is a bit different, but here you have to declare a party and the only two choices are D or R.
I'm not sure you have to declare in MO, but a judge from each party needs to initial the ballot page.
I was voter 775 at my precinct at around noon. There were ~2600 votes cast here in the last midterm. The people there trended younger than Iβve normally seen. Iβll blame the recreational cannabis bill for that.
I learned recently that vaping is a method that does not give me any paranoia.
would it make you more paranoid if I said I was going to break into your home some random night and destroy your e-cigs?
If I didn't think I was going to die, then no. (Also, I don't have anything here. It was a one time thing a buddy offered.)
*whew* good to hear -- it wasn't a scenario I was looking forward to
But do you even lift, bro?
Because he does.
So, don't take a glute to a bicep fight.
8oz curls don't count. I gots the biceps and the glutes. Let's not talk about abs though
