Okay, sorry to keep the holiday theme going, (apologies to those that don't care for various/obvious reasons) but: real tree or fake? We started using a real one last year, and might as well do it again.

My new street seems to be really into the holiday lights and decorations. The weirdos across the street waaaaaay overdo it, some people down the street have a small army of inflatables, and every other house has those weird moving lights (okay, those are kind of cool). My philosophy is why would I want to put all that stuff up if I'm just going to have to take it all down?

How far do you all go with the decorations?

Voyager I (in a fascinating bit of engineering) just cranked up some thrusters that have been dormant for 37 years to help extend its ability to correct its broadcasting position.

What doodad/thingie/tool/engine/machine has far outlasted its warranty in your home?

The announcers mentioned a couple times how tired the Wolves looked in the 4th. Wonder why...
