I think the driving around here could best be summed up by the phrase "But...I wanted to go first."

Yesterday I had another instance of just one day off...it's been rare to get two in a row lately. Does anyone else who gets those waste them by thinking of the next day of work all day long? Maybe I'm just sick of my job.

I get the argument about Americans not getting the scoreless draw, but man, I about had a heart attack during the Man U - Chelsea match yesterday.

My sister lived fast for a lot of years, and I wasn't sure she'd ever see 22 years old, as she is today. She's mellowed out some, although some Facebook snooping suggests that her new(ish) boyfriend is a hard partier...sigh.

Reading bS's French Laundry post made me glare at my wine rack in disgust. The food didn't sound half bad, either...
