Minnesota native Alicia Bognanno and her band (I don't think the band's narrative has much to do with Minnesota, though).

Lizzo – Lift Every Voice and Sing/Good as Hell
Happy to see Lizzo blowing up lately.
2016
(uhh, kinda FZ, I guess)
Priests – Pink White House
Welcome to March. LET'S ROCK.
Patti LaBelle – You’ll Never Walk Alone
Only Patti LaBelle could get away with this.
4 May 1985
Janelle Monáe – Q.U.E.E.N.
Here's somebody who was in not one, but two Oscar-nominated flicks, including the real actual Best Picture winner. Look at me being all super-timely.
Odetta – The Bitter End
Gotta pay attention, man. The whole way though.
Regina Spektor — Ghost of Corporate Future
My favorite song of hers is "On The Radio", but it doesn't play that well live. This song plays very well.
Thanks for obliging everyone. See you again in a few years.
Serge Gainsbourg — Les Filles N’ont Aucun Degout
Nobody watches these on Saturday, right? A guilty pleasure of mine.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers — Yer So Bad
In continuing this week's theme of having no theme, I present my favorite song by Tom Petty. This performance is from 2012. I'm surprised he can still hit those high notes at 62. Doing better than McCartney in that department.
Jason Robert Brown — I Could Be In Love With Someone Like You
This song is originally from Jason Robert Brown's musical "The Last Five Years." The musical apparently is about his relationship with his ex-wife, and she threatened to sue over this song, so he removed it from the show and replaced it with another one. People are funny.
