Saturday was the 60th anniversary of the release of Kind of Blue, pretty much regarded as the greatest jazz album ever. To my untrained ear, this is the greatest song on the album so greatest jazz song ever?

The Feelies – Slipping Into Something
I couldn't find any evidence of The Feelies being played here before so here you go. Nice Saturday Morning song, with a guitar jam at the end.
Fun early video. These guys were a great, kinda cultish, band that mostly played on the east coast but made forays west as well. Their discography is on all the streaming services if interested.
Patty Griffin — Useless Desires
https://youtu.be/blbIFnB6MHc
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists. A young Patty Griffin sings about finally letting go.
Townes Van Zandt – Pancho and Lefty
I’ve been going on a little TVZ jaunt lately. I know this song has been played before, but not this version.
T-Rex – 20th Century Boy
What better way to start off my week than by playing one of the all time great rock songs.
Strand of Oaks – Weird Ways

Recorded by some dude in the front row.
This song has never been far from my 'now listening' queue since I heard it a few months ago. Not sure what I think of the rest of the album, but this one song is gold.
John Lennon + Elton John – Whatever Gets You Through The Night
since the djs are sleeping I'll toss one more on the bar-b-q
Harry Chapin – Cat’s in the Cradle

Performed in 1977, but released in 1974
I've been looking back at the Nixon administration for a variety of reasons (most of which are forbidden zone, obvi), but some of those reasons are to understand the environment my folks lived in better. Anywho, thanks for watching, and as always, please remember to like this post on social media.
David Bowie – Rebel Rebel
Bob Dylan – Hurricane
Yeah, hungry joe played this one in 2017, but his link is broken now so (╯ຈل͜ຈ) ╯︵ ┻━┻
