Everybody loves a good walk off.

Haim – Little of Your Love
Everybody still likes Haim, right?
Rod Stewart – Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?
Got a lot of engagement on my last one, so I figure I'll try something in the same vein and see if that boosts Sunday listenership. (That vein being "stuff I think is ridiculous")

The National – The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness
Get ready for lots of new National the rest of this year. Including probably every time they play this song on any late shows or the like.

Father John Misty – Total Entertainment Forever
Been holding out on playing this for a few weeks, but I keep listening to it over and over, so now you can, too.

The National – Santa Clara
There's always the St. Paul Saints, so this is for them. Sort of.
There are two National non-album tracks with the word "Saint" or "Saints" in them, but I couldn't find any good quality live videos of either of them. So here is one with the Spanish equivalent instead. And I made it 5 months before playing another National video, which is probably too long.
Destroyer – Times Square
The New Pornographers have a new album coming this week, but I read Dan Bejar's not on it at all, which is a real shame.
Sturgill Simpson – A Call To Arms
(No good version of this exist on YT, only crappy ones like the one I had to use for this post. Please click the following link to appreciate it in the proper HD format: Sturgill Simpson - A Call To Arms)
Okay, okay, yeah, we just featured this song. Sorry. 3 reasons I'm playing this:
- We Play A Lot Of Sturgill Simpson.
- This recent SNL gig was pretty much the answer to his curious introduction to the rest of America (Heh, he loves Blonde. We have so much in common). I mean, check it, there's no way we couldn't play it. Like a gritful veteran legger-outer, he [redacted]in knocked it out of the park.
- Again, we just played this, but hell, today of all days, we should probably consider it again (NOFZ).
The Jam – Ghosts
For the Painter.

Bon Iver – 33 “GOD”
So I get one more "official" Best of 2016 video. A lot of my favorites have already been hit (other than people like Frank who have no live videos of new stuff yet), but if you know me, you probably know what we haven't played yet that's going to be at the top of my list.
