STORM CHASERS 14, SAINTS 4 IN OMAHA

Omaha scored five in the second to take a 5-2 lead.  They also had four two-run innings.

Anthony Prato was 2-for-3 with a walk.
Austin Martin was 2-for-5 with a home run, his fifth.
Andrew Stevenson was 2-for-5 with a home run (his sixteenth) and a double.

Louie Varland pitched four innings, allowing seven runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks and striking out three.

TRAVELERS 5, WIND SURGE 0 IN ARKANSAS

Leading 2-0, Arkansas scored three runs in the eighth.

Tanner Schobel was 2-for-4.
Seth Gray was 2-for-4.

Travis Adams struck out five in 4.1 innings, giving up one run on four hits and two walks.
Curtis Taylor retired all five men he faced, striking out two.

CUBS 6, KERNELS 3 IN SOUTH BEND

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are 31-17, in first place in the Midwest League West, four games ahead of Peoria.
The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are 22-26, in fifth place in the Florida State League West, nine games behind Lakeland.  They are two games behind fourth-place Tampa.
