Where They Stand

Rochester is 23-30, fifth in the International League North, nine games behind Pawtucket.  The Red Wings have won three consecutive games and are 6-4 in their last ten games.

New Britain is 24-29, fifth in the Eastern League Eastern, six games behind Portland and Binghamton.  The Rock Cats had lost three consecutive games and are 4-6 in their last ten games.

Fort Myers is 37-14, first in the Florida State League South, 7.5 games ahead of St. Lucie.  The Miracle has won two consecutive games and is 6-4 in its last ten games.

Cedar Rapids is 31-19, first in the Midwest League Western, one game ahead of Beloit.  The Kernels won their most recent game and are 3-7 in their last ten games.

Players of the Week

Rochester:  Kyle Gibson pitched eight shutout innings and is working on a streak of eighteen scoreless innings.  For the season, he is 4-5, 2.82, 1.07 WHIP.  He has struck out 53 and walked 17 in 60.2 innings (ten starts).

New Britain:  Danny Santana was 11-for-25 with two doubles, a triple, and a stolen base.  For the season, he is hitting .296/.310/.378 with eight stolen bases in 96 at-bats.
