I found out yesterday that Stephen "Thundercat" Bruner often plays bass with Kamasi Washington, which is pretty awesome. I've only got one of his albums, but I really like it.
That bass is pretty sweet.
This is actually another sad passing to note. Otis Clay was a heavy on the Chicago scene and will be missed.
