TwinsDan Rohlfing was 2-for-3 with two walks, scoring once and driving in two.  Caleb Thielbar struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up one run on one hit.

Game summary:  Peoria led 6-0 after two innings.  Phoenix never got closer than four runs.

Phoenix:  Jake Realmuto (Miami) was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk.  Christian Yelich (Miami) was 2-for-5 with a double and drove in three.

Peoria:  Nick Franklin (Seattle) was 4-for-5 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in six.  Rymer Liriano (San Diego) was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring four times and driving in one.

SURPRISE 7, MESA 0 IN MESA

Game summary:  Surprise scored six runs in the fourth.

Surprise:  Kevin Segrist (St. Louis) struck out four in three innings, giving up one hit and three walks.  Chris McGuiness (Texas) was 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and a walk.

Mesa:  Onelki Garcia (Dodgers) worked two shutout innings, allowing a hit and a walk.

SALT RIVER 14, SCOTTSDALE 12 IN SALT RIVER

Game summary:  In a back-and-forth game, Salt River scored four in the seventh to break an 8-8 tie and take the lead for good.

Scottsdale:  David Adams (Yankees) was 3-for-5 with two home runs, scoring three times and driving in three.  Matt Curry (Pittsburgh) was 3-for-5 with a home run, scoring three times.

Salt River:  Carlos Sanchez (White Sox) was 5-for-5 with a double and scored five times.  Corey Dickerson (Colorado) was 4-for-5 with a triple, scoring three times and driving in four.
