TwinsDarin Mastroianni (Zulia) was 2-for-5 with a walk and scored three times.  Oswaldo Arcia (Aragua) was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer.  Josmil Pinto (Aragua) was used as a reserve and was 0-for-1.  Edgar Ibarra (Aragua) started but lasted only 1.2 innings, allowing four runs on five hits.  He did strike out three.

Game summary:  Zulia led 5-0 after four, 7-1 after six, and 11-1 after seven.

Zulia:  Wilfredo Boscan (Texas) allowed one run on two hits and two walks in 5.1 innings.  Henry Rodriguez (Cincinnati) was 3-for-5 with a double and a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.

Aragua:  Jorge Cortes was 3-for-3 with a solo homer and a two-run homer.  Luis Hernandez (Cleveland) was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.

Game summary:  Margarita scored five in the third to take a 6-0 lead.

Margarita:  Luis Chirinos allowed one run on four hits and four walks while striking out five in six innings.  Rene Reyes was 3-for-5 with a home run and scored three times.

Magallanes:  Jesus Flores (Washington) was 2-for-4 with a double and scored once.  Jose Altuve (Houston) was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
