TwinsMiguel Sano (Oriente) was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a home run, scoring twice and driving in three.  Jhonatan Arias (Oriente) was 0-for-3.

Game summary:  Trailing 5-1 after eight, Oriente scored eight runs in the ninth.  Sano led off the inning with a double and closed the scoring with a three-run homer.

Oriente:  Frankie De La Cruz (Milwaukee) pitched two shutout innings, giving up one hit and two walks.  Brad Snyder got a two-run pinch-hit single and scored.

Licey:  Julio Teheran (Atlanta) struck out eight in six shutout innings, allowing one hit and no walks.  Hanley Ramirez (Dodgers) was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring twice and driving in two.

CIBAO 6, ESTE 4 IN ESTE

Game summary:  Cibao broke a 3-3 tie with one in the seventh, then scored two insurance runs in the eighth.

Cibao:  Moises Sierra (Toronto) was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.  Wilson Valdez was 3-for-4.

Este:  Diory Hernandez was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.  Claudio Vargas allowed two runs on seven hits and no walks in five innings.

ESCOGIDO 8, AGUILAS 7 IN AGUILAS

Game summary:  Down 7-0 after seven, Aguilas scored seven in the eighth to tie the score, only to see Escogido score in the ninth on an RBI single by Fernando Tatis.

Escogido:  Julio Lugo was 5-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs.  Ryan Flaherty (Baltimore) was 3-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.

Aguilas:  Oscar Taveras (St. Louis) was 3-for-4 with two doubles and scored once.  Miguel Tejada was 2-for-4 and scored once.
