MAZATLAN 3, GUASAVE 2 IN GUASAVE (10 INNINGS)

Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 0-for-3 with a walk.

Game summary:  Guasave scored two in the third and Mazatlan got two in the fourth.  That's all the scoring until the tenth, when an RBI single by Mario Santana brought in the winning run.

Mazatlan:  Jeff Bennett went seven innings, giving up two runs on seven hits and two walks.  Jose Orozco was 3-for-3.

Guasave:  James Avery went seven innings, giving up two runs on nine hits and no walks.  Jesus Cota was 3-for-4 with a walk.

NAVOJOA 12, LOS MOCHIS 7 IN LOS MOCHIS

Game summary:  Leading 7-5 after five, Navojoa scored three in the sixth and two in the seventh.

Navojoa:  Jose Chavez was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, and two walks, scoring four times and driving in three.  Luis Fonseca was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring twice and driving in one.

Los Mochis:  Jesus Avila was 2-for-4 with a home run and scored twice.  Sergio Perez was 2-for-4 and scored twice.

CULIACAN 9, HERMOSILLO 6 IN HERMOSILLO

Game summary:  Culiacan led 4-1 after five, 4-3 after seven, and 5-3 after eight.  They scored four in the ninth, with Hermosillo coming back for three.

Culiacan:  John Lindsey was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.  Cory Aldridge was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring three times.

Hermosillo:  Luis A. Garcia was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk, scoring twice.  Jose Aguilar was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.

OBREGON 6, MEXICALI 3 IN MEXICALI

Game summary:  Obregon broke a 2-2 tie with four in the seventh.

Obregon:  Alfredo Amezaga was 4-for-5 and scored once.  Sergio Contreras was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

Mexicali:  Jon Weber was 2-for-4.  Michel Abreu was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk and scored twice.
