I'm not sure what "missed schedule" means, but I re-posted this Co'C, and it seems to have done the trick.

No. I believe WordPress, by default, uses visits to the site to trigger automatic posts. When it says "missed schedule", that means no one visited in the window after the post was scheduled to post.
Here's what skirted southern St. Chas this past Friday night:

Herr Klinsmann and the Birds of War are hosting Die Mannschaft right now on ESPN. After losing to Belgium* 4-2 earlier in the week, I'm not hopeful.
*The Crepes? Wikipedia says they're the Red Devils/Rode Duivels/Diables Rouges/Rote Teufeln. I like The Crepes (or Les Crepes even) better.

Pity me. they didn't have enough to fill the whole board. Russian River Brewing. Excellent pizza, excellent chicky chicky sammich, and most excellent beer. The mrs even got in the act a wee bit. She tried about 4 of these, and declared that she actually liked one (the Supplication -- Sour Brown Ale Aged in Pinot Noir Barrels with Sour Cherries).
No pity. Booooooooooooo.
