Players of the Week

Nobody really dominant, but some good performances.

Rochester:  Chris Parmelee was 9-for-26 with three doubles and seven walks.  For the season, he is hitting .303/.397/.455 in 66 at-bats.  P. J. Walters was 1-0 in two starts, giving up two runs on ten hits and eight walks in 12.2 innings.  For the season, he is 5-2, 3.43, 1.39 WHIP with 67 strikeouts in 81.1 innings.

New Britain:  Evan Bigley was 7-for-21 with a double and two home runs.  For the season, he is hitting .209/.258/.318 in 110 at-bats.

Fort Myers:  Dalton Hicks was 8-for-22 with a double and four walks.  For the season, he is hitting .290/.384/.419 in 62 at-bats.

Cedar Rapids:  Tim Shibuya pitched six shutout innings in two apperances, giving up four hits and no walks while striking out four.  For the season, he is 1-0, 1 save, 0.90, 0.70 WHIP with 10 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Elizabethton:  Zach Granite was 11-for-30 with a triple and three walks.  For the season, he is hitting .286/.354/.343 in 140 at-bats.

GCL Twins:  Jason Kanzler was 8-for-23 with two doubles and two triples.  For the season, he is hitting .224/.287/353 in 85 at-bats.

DSL Twins:  Dubal Baez was 9-for-24 with a double.  For the season, he is hitting .354/.451/.408 in 130 at-bats.

    I look forward to Hicks throwing to Hicks to complete a play.
