There are six teams in the Dominican League, whose season starts tonight.  They play a fifty-game schedule, with each team playing each of the other teams ten times.  Last year, four teams made the playoffs and played an eighteen-game round robin.  The two top teams then play a best-of-nine series to determine the champion.
