  1. I had another good day of bowling yesterday. I had a 163, 167, 186 for a 516 series. That's my second 500 series in the last three weeks. I probably take more pride than I should in this, but I've had so few athletic achievements in my life that when I finally am semi-competent at something, I feel pretty good about it.

    1. No reason to apologize for feeling good about performing well. I'm definitely impressed. Any three of those would be a personal best for me.

    1. On the graphic they show, I believe it shows Kevin Love as having the most assist opps among elite big men. He'll get that triple-double yet and probably several more.

    1. Meanwhile, Jeff Bagwell had virtually the same OPS. He had fewer walks but holy cripes he was on pace to hit 60 homers while playing half his games in the Astrodome. Against lefties that year he was 2001 Bonds. In the Astrodome.

      1. Even though 'runs scored' is not a statistic talked about too often, my favorite Jeff Bagwell tidbit is that his 152 runs in 2000 is 30th all time. Most of the other players above him on that list are either 1920's Yankees or players from the 1800's. (Bags had 143 runs scored the year before)
