2-0 Tigers
I'm not arguing the call was wrong, I'm arguing Joe West stinks.

That was an ok outing by Deduno. 6IP 5 k 1 bb
Wow. Everyone must be spending time with Mom today.
Danny Santana is pinch hitting for Aaron Hicks
So Santana is going to play CF?
Yep. Can't be much worse than Escobar, I guess.
Santana played over 20 games in CF in the minors.
"Wheels" Pinto!
on the board!
Good (?) baserunning by Pinto gives us our first run!
sheesh, at this rate, we'll have Tonkin playing CF soon
What is the "Drew Butera pitches in a game" equivalent for the CF situation?
Jason Bartlett.
Drew Butera plays CF in a game.
winner.
Glad to see a good inning from Burton.
Looks like Plouffe got hosed on at least two "Strikes"
Pinto needs to help Joba's ERA.
that'll work.
If the Twins are going to get back into this game, this is when they need to do it.
oh my
Tie game!
Lead game!
TWINS BASEBALL!!
I see I'm not the only one who showed up just to post that. 🙂
TWINS BASEBALL!!!
da heck just happen that inning O_o
A lead! Now let's put in our best defensive outfield! Er...that is...um...
Mauer
The Lead!
Tastes like stale parmesan.
Well, that's the end of Fien.
What happened to Fiennes?
Batted ball back up the middle found Fien's arm.
Contusion. Rub some dirt on it.
Took one for the team. If the ball doesn't hit him, it's likely a tie game. Well, with Cabrera running, it's at least 1st & 3rd and 1 out.
OUCH
C'mon 4 out save!
A 4-out save opportunity. Say it ain't so.
Thank Joe West.
no obligatory this inning please, Perk
Jack Morris is making too much sense in the broadcast booth. he says that the Twins need to prevent a run so why not bring in your best reliever here.
What?!
He was making a fair amount of sense yesterday too. It was...disarming.
Must have been his time north of the border. Time to send Gladden to the Blue Jays for a while.
Provus was a little more excited about the center fielder catching a fly ball than one would wish for.
We have a center fielder?
Brennschluss, then Santana. 1 egg down in Perkins' omelette.
Atteberry just referenced Avogadro's number. I somehow don't think we'd have gotten that reference with Dazzle in the booth.
More like avocados number.
When is Escobar scheduled to turn back into a pumpkin?
Seems like some fundamental base path rule was violated there...
still, .333 is about .300 more than Hicks' BA
Anyone watching? Was there anything worth challenging there?
nah, he was tagged out before he touched the base
I thought perhaps initially because the fielder had to reach up to catch the short hop and then bring the tag down, so I thought Escobar might have slid under, but the first replay showed he was clearly out.
2-eggs in the omelette. Me likes me some Brinner!
3-egg omelette. Have to toss in a Lipitor with that one.
Provus was a little more excited about the left fielder catching a fly ball than one would wish for.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I was listening to it live.
I hope that bit of TWINS BASEBALL!!! doesn't come back to haunt.
Colabellohno
Less Cowbell.
Provus was a little more excited about the right fielder first missing, then catching a fly ball than one would wish for.
Series win!
puppies!!
Perk likes to get 4 outs. Good game.
Perkins 4-egg omelette!!110010one!1!
taking two from that trio of Tigers' starters is better than I would have hoped
3-4 road trip, not a disaster!
that should be a slogan: 2014 Twins Not a disaster!
No more hoping, just mediocre!
Let's hope it's not: 2014 Twins Not an immediate disaster
Tigers seeing the Twins don't have any outfielders hit the ball to all three infielders in the OF in the 9th. Pretty good strategy but the Twins make it look easy. At least the Twins are smart enough to put shortstops in LF and RF. Actual shortstops, not those that used to be good before injuries.

Baseball is weird.
