Zack Granite was activated from the disabled list by Cedar Rapids.

Bryan Haar was named to the Midwest League all-star game.

B. J. Hermsen was promoted from extended spring training to Fort Myers.

Chris Herrmann was placed on the seven-day disabled list by Rochester with a sprained right wrist, then was activated two weeks later.

Aaron Hicks was placed on the fifteen-day disabled list with a right shoulder strain.

Matt Hoffman elected free agency.

David Hurlbut was placed on the seven-day disabled list by Fort Myers.

Cole Johnson was activated from the temporarily inactive list by New Britain.

Felix Jorge was sent from Cedar Rapids to extended spring training.

  1. Ivory Thomas, who the Twins released, has an OBP of .433. Unfortunately, he has a batting average of .163. He's drawn 37 walks in 121 plate appearances while going 13-for-80. The Twins are probably right to release him--I'm sure that kind of walk rate would be unsustainable as he moves up the ladder--but a line of .163/.433/.250 is pretty unusual.
