CIBAO 13, ESCOGIDO 5 IN CIBAO

Twins:  Jeremias Pineda was 1-for-4 with a double and a walk, scoring twice and driving in one for Cibao.

Escogido:  Jordan Pacheco was 2-for-3 with two doubles and a walk, scoring once.  Denis Phipps was 1-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

Cibao:  Moises Sierra was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring twice and driving in four.  Adrian Nieto was 3-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in two.  Juan Perez retired all four batters he faced.

The game:  A six-run second, highlighted by Sierra's two-run single, gave Cibao a 6-2 lead, but Escogido cut it to 6-5 after four.  Cibao got three in the sixth, two on Sierra's two-run double, and four in the eighth to put the game out of reach.
