OBREGON 2, CULIACAN 1 IN CULIACAN
Obregon: Â Christian Villaneuva (Cubs) was 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk. Â Donald Lutz (Cincinnati) was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in one. Â Arturo Lopez pitched seven innings, giving up one run on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
Culiacan: Â Maxwell Leon was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Â Jorge Reyes (Atlanta) struck out nine in 5.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks.
The game: Â Lutz' RBI double in the sixth broke a 1-1 tie. Â Culiacan had men on first and second with one out in the ninth when a double play ended the game.
MEXICALI 5, NAVOJOA 3 IN NAVOJOA
Mexicali: Â Walter Ibarra (Dodgers) was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs. Â Xorge Carrillo (Mets) was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring once. Â Marco Antonio Duarte pitched six innings, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts.
Navojoa: Â Jon Weber (Detroit) was 2-for-4 with a home run, his fifth. Â Diego Madero was 1-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Â Alejandro Soto struck out six in six innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks.
The game: Â Weber homered in the sixth to tie it 3-3, but Carrillo doubled and scored on an error to put Mexicali in front to stay in the eighth. Â Chris Roberson singled in an insurance run later in the inning.
LOS MOCHIS 9, HERMOSILLO 7 IN HERMOSILLO
Los Mochis: Â Antonio Lamas was 2-for-4 with a grand slam (his third homer) and a walk, scoring twice. Â Ramon Orantes was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Â Oscar Verdugo struck out two in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit.
Hermosillo: Â Carlos Alberto Gastelum was 3-for-5 with two doubles, scoring once and driving in one. Â Jerry Owens was 3-for-5 with a walk and two runs. Â Hector Galvan pitched five innings, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks with one strikeout.
The game: Â Trailing 7-2 after seven, Los Mochis scored seven runs in the eighth to take the lead. Â Lamas' grand slam put Los Mochis in front.
JALISCO 16, MAZATLAN 0 IN JALISCO
Mazatlan: Â Rogelio Norris (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4. Â Derrick Robinson (Cincinnati) was 1-for-3 with a walk. Â Josh Ravin (Dodgers) pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk with one strikeout.

Â Marquez Smith (Cincinnati) was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer (his fifth), two doubles, and a walk, scoring twice. Â Marco Tovar pitched seven shutout innings, allowing three hits and one walk with three strikeouts.
The game: Â In the third, Jose Manuel Rodriguez hit a three-run homer followed by a Leo Heras (Houston) solo homer to put Jalisco up 4-0. Â They were never threatened after that.
