I didn't have time to weigh in last Friday, but DBT did a great acoustic set at First Ave. two weeks ago. It was completely different from their show a year ago. Ultimately, I think I prefer the plugged in version, but it was well worth it to see a different side. Personal highlights include a cover of "Benny and the Jets" and my brother in law asking "why isn't Can of Corn here?"

      1. Not surprising. I would guess that about half of my present music catalog has come from checking out bands discussed here. Even more if you count finding music because it is similar to bands discussed at WGOM.

    1. I was pretty disappointed I couldn't get it to work out...an acoustic set of DBT sounds right up my alley.

      Also, great list.

Thee Oh Sees have a new album coming out, which I believe is their 5th new album in the last 3 months. Or maybe it just seems that way.
