The Twins are in a bit of a tailspin at the moment losing 5 of the last 6 games. I still have faith that the ship will right itself and we will be back in first place in no time.
Wandy Rodriguez pitches for the Rangers. Tommy Milone for the Twins. Will we get "strike everyone out like in AAA" Tommy or "12 walks to 13 strikeouts in the Majors" Tommy . I hope its the AAA guy.
I really hope that it's not Rangers AT Twins or I drove to Dallas for nothing.
Heading to The Ballpark right now.
Its been a long week.
now corrected.
I wish DG could be corrected that easily
Lester Oliveros was ejected from the Red Wings game in the first inning after hitting someone in the head with a pitch following back-to-back home runs. The Red Wings are down 4-0 in the bottom of the first and haven't retired a batter yet.
Pretty nice National Anthem by a trumpet group.

awesome!
Add it to the media library! I would love Citizen submitted photos of every ballpark to supplement the ones from flickr.
We need a ballpark photo library and see how many we end up coming up with
I have a real nice photo of Camden Yards somewhere.
Here it is, uploaded to the library.
And here's one of Kauffman, not in the library yet. I should have the original somewhere before we resort to downloading a degraded version from PicasaWeb.
The large version's dimensions are nearly perfect for a featured image so I added it to the media library.
Bases loaded, none out. Can we score?
Yes we will. Many many runs. I feel it.
At least one!
And only one.
Gladden notes that this is the first time in the month of June the Twins have scored in the first inning.
The smoke and mirrors is back!
Two called strike threes for Milone in the first. Seems like a good sign.
The one on Moreland seemed to be a generous strike.
With Milone pitching, I'll take some generous strikes. Besides, now that Gardy's gone, maybe Hunter Wendlestedt will give us some calls.
HA! I didnt think of that angle.
Strike three, you're out! Was a big hit both times with the three year old next to me.
Two good innings for Milone.
USA-Sweden is 0-0 at the half.
Dull game ended nil-nil
Mauer has played enough first base by now that an error like that shouldn't happen.
Three nice innings for Milone. Be nice to get another run or two.

Gladden is such a second-guesser sometimes. He's criticizing Rosario for having swung at the first pitch in his first at-bat. Yet, when someone gets a hit on the first pitch, Gladden always praises him for being aggressive. Heads I win, tails you lose.
The Twins have sounded pretty helpless up to bat so far.
Four solid innings for Milone.
Twins continue to look overmatched. Milone better throw a shutout, because it sure looks like one run is all he's going to get.
Twins havent had a base runner since Joe Mauer in the first inning. eeep.
Three new sets from Topps this month; a couple nice former players have autos coming out that I don't have, and I snagged one of them. Next week I'll see if there is any amenable pork...
Five solid innings for Milone.
Make it six solid innings for Milone.
That was beyond solid. He pitched great, dominant even with all the strikeouts and less base runners allowed than innings pitched.
a hit!
A base runner!
Pitchers look good from where I'm sitting.
Are you kidding me?
ugh
Third time through the order
Bull Dozed!!! wooO!
I liked the Aaron Thompson who got outs all the time. Where did he go?
Hey, free one!
Walking on eggshells
Brian Duensing in a pressure situation will lead to bad things.
Paul Larussa at it again
I was griping to my friend that he was coming into a tight game. He's a leaky gas can. I have no idea why he wasn't non-tendered two years ago. He's awful.
Good work Hicks
Oh man.....
4 pitchers, 4 runs
Hmmph.
Gideon's mood pretty well matched the way the game was going. A sharp downturn after the seventh inning stretch.
That sucked, but if the Twins keep getting starting pitching like this, they will be doing great. Their offense probably won't be as good as it was in May, but it probably won't be as bad as it has been in June either. At least hopefully Dozier and Plouffe are getting it going again.
The trouble is that before long, Nolasco and Santana will take two spots in the rotation, probably replacing Milone and May. I'm afraid that will be subtraction by addition.
That's a very bad indictment on the Twins' front office if we really need to be worried about putting over $100M worth of pitchers in the rotation, but I get what you're saying. FWIW, Nolasco has the same FIP as May, which is the best for the starting pitchers. Milone's FIP on the season has been awful. Before tonight, Malone was the worst of the starters in giving up HRs and walks as well as the worst at striking out batters.
It was intended as an indictment of the Twins' front office.
