The Twins will call up top pitching prospect Jose Berrios to make his major league debut on Wednesday against Cleveland.
Also, the Twins are going to call infielder Jorge Polanco back from Rochester , and indications are that Ervin Santana will be placed on the disabled list with a strained back.
Still leaves the Twins one move short. Of course, they can wait to make that move till tomorrow before Berrios is supposed to start.
Gibson is in line for Wednesday so I guess he is put on the DL. Or someone else from their 25 14 pitchers is sent down. Tonkin perhaps?
Gibson definitely not making next start. It's unclear when he will start again. Is waiting for team to make official announcement
Anyone have tips on how to go about getting a good price on a rental car? I feel like this is something I should already know, but is there a website for comparing the prices of the different companies or something?
Best rates I've ever seen are through USAA, if you're a member.
I'll have to keep that in mind the next time we need a rental.
I've used Hotwire for most of my car rentals and haven't had any complaints. You don't know which company it is with until you book though.
Kayak is my go-to site to do any comp shopping for travel.
Yeah, I've never had a problem with the online sites. Mrs. Runner usually google's "cheap car rental" and we're in like Flint.
I used kayak for my last personal rental as well. Got a good rate using budget and got a free upgrade at the airport as well. I did use an American express card to rent it, which meant free insurance.
Outside of that, though, my car rentals are pretty much always for business, so cheap isn't really my main concern.
My sister got a good deal thru Costco.
I got screwed over in Ft Myers. I went with the one rental company that closed up at 11 and left me stranded at the airport.
I rent infrequently enough that I don't care about loyalty programs, so I've used Priceline a lot in the past. If I can't win a bid with a meaningfully lower price than stated elsewhere online (kayak, etc.), then I just go with kayak or whatever.
My AARP discount usually gets me a pretty good rate. 😉

Certainly not any motivation to do anything for me.
So far it has brought back-to-back-to-back meetings and no lunch.
Loek Van Mil was released by Rochester. I didn't think he was going to make it, but I was rooting for him.
Stitches out today. Almost back to keeping it?
Good luck. How long's your rehab?
Rehab? I've got a bottle of pills that may send me to rehab.
Berrios being called up to start on Wednesday. Not sure if anything is wrong with Gibson.
I can look at the season stats and tell you something is wrong with Gibson -- he's not pitching well right now.
LEN3 mentioned something about the Twins staff being concerned about Gibson's health.
More from LENNN:

I was also fascinated by Chernobyl, and really enjoyed the google street view tour. Thanks for the links.
If you guys see Bionerd23, tell her I said hi.
