Skim is camping for the first time, as her fifth-grade class is on a trip for the last three days of school. She was pretty excited, but isn't the outdoorsy type, so I'm curious how she's doing.

Great topic. We just sent my son (13) off to be a Counselor in Training at a nearby Christian camp. He'll be gone until just before Father's Day. It's big for both him and us. I think his biggest challenge will be living without electronics.
A group setting like that is a perfect intro to camping. She won't be tge only rookie.
