Minor Details: Games of June 6

Jose Berrios has a strong outing.  Levi Michael delivers a walkoff single.  The DSL Twins remain unbeaten.

ROCHESTER 6, BUFFALO 2 IN ROCHESTER

The Red Wings scored in five of the nine innings and led all the way.  Jose Berrios had an excellent game, striking out eleven in eight innings, while allowing two runs on three hits and only one walk.  Both runs came on homers by Casey Kotchman, both of them hit directly down the right field line.  Logan Schafer was 3-for-5 with a home run (his second) and a double and is now batting .375 in 16 Rochester at-bats.  Wilfredo Tovar was 2-for-4 with a triple.  Jorge Polanco was 2-for-4 with a walk and is batting .327.  Eddie Rosario was 1-for-3 and is batting .325.

CHATTANOOGA 3, JACKSONVILLE 2 IN CHATTANOOGA (11 INNINGS)

Levi Michael delivered a one-out single in the eleventh to carry the Lookouts to victory.  Ryan Eades, in his first game back from the disabled list, pitched four innings and allowed one run on two hits and two walks with one strikeout.  Leonardo Reginatto was 3-for-4 with a double and is now batting .301.  Zach Granite was 3-for-4 with a walk.  Trevor Hildenberger struck out four in two perfect innings.  Since being promoted to Chattanooga, he has an ERA of 0.90, a WHIP of 0.70, and has 21 strikeouts with only 3 walks in 20 innings (15 games).

DSL TWINS 6, DSL ORIOLES2 5 AT TWINS

The Twins led 6-2 after eight.  It was 6-3 with two out and none on in the ninth, but a triple, two hit batsmen, and a single made it 6-5 with men on second and third before Andriu Marin got a ground out to end the game.  Melvi Acosta struck out six in five shutout innings, allowing two hits and no walks.  Darling Cuesto was 2-for-3 with a double to lead the offense.
