We could get three games each day for two more days if the series go long enough.
Too bad the tribe wraps it tonight
Wrecking my bracket even more.
Newbish and I are watching the Dodgers/Nationals tilt. I find myself rooting for the Nationals, but I want this series to lay long enough for Kershaw to get one worldbeater start.
So... I guess I'm hoping that it's a 79 game series.
Actually, I'M watching the game, Newbish is pretty clearly trying to break my crappy Blu Ray player. I may have to encourage this...
Man, Jason Werth crushed that ball.
Petunia tries to get himself tossed on a called third strike that is very obviously a strike.
And now, for maybe the last time, David Ortiz.
Francona early and often to the pen.
But rough start for Allen.
I adore the way he's used Miller this series.
Interesting on waiting until Ortiz makes it to second, perhaps plus Betts scoring, to then pinch-run for him.
This has not been a great post-season for closers.
Both AL teams will be well rested
Cleveland wins and TBS announce talk about the Red Sox for three minutes.
yep
That at bat goes very differently I think if Aaron Hill did not pinch-run for Ortiz.
That's true, but I can't say that was a bad decision. Down one run in the eighth, Ortiz on second representing the tying run. I'm okay with the decision to go all out to tie it up at that point.
It's as shame pedroia wasn't the last out.
Four 4 Four! Plus I have Cubs and Nats.
Arrieta v. Bumgarner. Should be a gas.
Spreadsheet updated and half of the people are eliminated.
I have 0 points, but I can still win!
That's Ortiz's final game. HoF?
In my opinion, borderline. In reality? Definitely.
Jake!
Arrieta just hit a three-run homer off Bumgarner.
If I'm reading his postseason gamelogs right, he had never given up a three-run homer in the postseason.
!!!! Arrietta!
Denard Span having a nice playoff run.
Heh, after the Britton debacle, no one is going to get beat with their closer sitting on the bench.
6 out save for Chapman? I like.
And he promptly gives up a huge two run triple.
Quite the game.
2 blown saves in 1 game. I don't remember there being blown saves in the postseason thus far.
My recording ran out after 8. But I discovered the game was live in the 11th!
D-Span !
Panik attack!
Gonna be a lot of tired folks in the office tomorrow.
