Corey Kluber
vs
John Lackey.
538 predicts Cleveland has a 49% chance of winning this game and a 63% chance of winning the series. The Cubs have the advantage in all of the games up to a hypothetical Game 7. They do need to remember how to score again though.
3-1 in the bottom of the third. Kluber wavering a bit but Cleveland seems close to making the outcome inevitable.
That was a really quick bottom of the 5th
why are you bunting
Kluber dealing.
I wonder if Miller will go two innings or if Francona will do the usual one inning per reliever.
Or it breaks open and cleanup comes in instead.
KIPNIS!!!
FOX execs praying for a comeback so this series goes to at least 6 games
Evening gents. It was 1-0 when I left Joliet. Uffda.
The T-Mobile commercials with Harper just don't have the same impact anymore.
Miller finally gives up a run... in garbage time.
Smoltz questioning Francona keeping Miller in for the eighth. I have to agree. He's just going to drive up his pitch count after his quick seventh inning. He will probably make an appearance in tomorrow's game.
Seems excessive to me; Tito might need Miller tomorrow night to help wrap it up.
I agree, too. I get that Francona's saying we want to make darn sure we win this game, but it seems like the Cleveland bullpen is good enough that you could trust it with a six-run lead for two innings.
That silver catching gear is really gaudy.
Hey, Justice Stevens.
Maddon's going to let Heyward bat here?
So Cleveland goes forever since their last championship and now they're on the verge of two in one year. Obviously.
History shows again and again how
naturesports points out the folly of menStolen from Twitter:
Cleveland: We want a Championship
Devil: O.k. But you gotta take the G.O.P. Convention though.
Cleveland: Deal!
Devil: It's going to be Trump.
Cleveland: We want two.
