It's Saturday, which means we deserve a fresh pot to linger over.
We all deserve it. Some of us just have easier/legal access.
Thanks to makeup games and such, the Twins have 34 games to play with only three off days among them. Some young fellas might be getting more coffee than they figured this year. The stretch includes 20 Central division games, three of them head to head with Cleveland in the last week. Seven each with KC and Detroit, and three against the top wild card contending Yankees. It could be a very fun September.
For the last holdouts, MLB.TV is 9.99 this weekend. Not a bad deal for a months worth of games.
Five of the top ten AL leaders in offensive WAR play for Houston, a team that lost 111 games in 2013.
