I turned on the radio last night just before Castro kicked off the scoring in the 2nd. I take full credit for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings (turned it off then)
Hopefully this time they don't go 3-5 in the next eight games.

The pitching staff now sports three double-digit winners (Big Erv 15, Jose 12, Gibby 10?!) -- who of the 2.87x106 other pitchers this season has the next highest total?
I wouldn't have gotten that even with five guesses.
For some reason (probably because I enjoy habitual rituals), the product featured in the header image appeals to both the coffee drinker & ex-tobacco user in me. Not sure how I feel about that.

I was at the game last night. We left after the 7th inning (school night!). As I was leaving, I heard, hey Stick! I turned around and it was the Philosopher. Neat!

I feel like a crushing divisional round defeat after winning forty in a row would be just what a team proudly throwing that logo around deserves.

Saw BDAHB at New Britain Stadium in a fierce rainstorm. No words from Dylan, just mesmerizing, sloppy-esque singing.
Joe Mauer's career rWAR is now within 0.3 of the average catcher in the Hall of Fame. His 7-year peak is better than the average HOFer.
And that is why I firmly believe he is worthy now, even if he didn't play another game.
