1. My guess is that Kennys Vargas is on top of the DFA list.

   1. Signing Napoli and DFAing Vargas does seem rather silly.

      1. A move like that seems fairly Ryan-esque, so I'd like to believe the Napoli thing is merely rumor.

      2. Napoli's #s are not good when you remove his PA against the Twins' pitchers

         1. wouldn't that count as addition by subtraction?

3. Today looks like a good day to take out some of those mandatory online training classes before the end of the year. :/

   1. I’ll be reading funding applications during the Poissonnier’s nap this afternoon. I actually enjoy that, but my feedback deadline is midday tomorrow.

      1. nothing like deadlines to ruin something enjoyable

4. Somewhere along the way, my Wife started recieving, unsolicited, the USA Philatelic publication.
   I really like flipping through it - there's interesting material and it's a rather nice catalog...which then makes me wonder how widely it's distributed, at no charge, and furthermore about the Postal Service's current financial situation.

5. ok, whomever selected a cover photo featuring John Wayne for today's cuppa done good, real good. Duke indeed.

   1. that's been around for, like, 6 years.

      1. he's not saying it's new, he's saying that selecting it when Zach Duke's signing was announced was a good choice

6. This has been a fun half of basketball, even though Thibs gave KAT the hook after one dumb pass.

   1. I can't believe this game is going to overtime.

7. Butler just had the best post game interview I've ever heard, non-pop division.

8. Just when Jeff Teague was becoming likable in my eyes, he goes down with a nasty knee injury.

9. I just saw a guy on Twitter say he'd only be out 2-4 weeks. I'm going with it.
