CHATTANOOGA 3, JACKSONVILLE 1 IN CHATTANOOGA

The Lookouts won their seventh straight game.  Zander Weil had a two-run single in the first, the inning in which Chattanooga scored all its runs.

T. J. White and Brian Navaretto were each 2-for-3.  Brent Rooker was 2-for-4.  Weil was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .409.  Nick Gordon was 0-for-4 and is batting .353.  The star, though, was Randy LeBlanc, who pitched his best game in AA so far.  He went six shutout innings, giving up five hits and a walk and striking out three.  Zack Jones struck out two in  scoreless inning, although he walked three.

FORT MYERS 4, DUNEDIN 2 IN DUNEDIN

Joe Cronin hit a two-run homer in the seventh to give the Miracle a 3-0 lead.  The Blue Jays cut it to 3-2 through eight, but Cronin doubled home another run in the ninth.

Jimmy Kerrigan was 3-for-4 with a home run (his third), a triple, and a double and is batting .426.  Cronin was 2-for-3 with a walk in addition to the home run and double and is batting .455.  Travis Blankenhorn was 2-for-4.  Tyler Wells had an excellent game, pitching five shutout innings and giving up one hit and no walks and striking out two.  His ERA is 1.29 in three starts (fourteen innings).
