  1. Even though it's MLB FGOTD, I switched the audio off the video feed (Bremer and some other dude) and switched over to the 'CCO.

        1. Gizoogle: Yo crazy-ass search - YDNTTHIDTLOJM! - did not match any documents, n' you can put dat on yo' toast.

  2. I did not like leaving Lynn in the game. At most, if he got out of it in short order, you might let him start the next inning, but it was highly unlikely that he would get through the 6th. Angels added a run and could have blown the game open just for the chance to get 1 or 2 more outs from Lynn with a bullpen that has its best relievers well rested.

  3. I need to stay off Twitter during tense moments of Twins games. I knew of Mauer's diving stop for the first out 2 pitches before it happened on my screen.

  4. That's why it is so important to throw strikes. Rodney gives up a big fly and 2 rockets, but the big fly went foul and the rockets went right to the fielders. Meanwhile, the Twins won because a soft bouncer went down the line for a game-tying single and put the go-ahead run at third to set up the winning sac fly. Got to love this game!

  5. I fell asleep with the Angels leading 3-1. Woke up and it was 4-2. Surprised as heck to see the Twins actually win this thing!

  6. Trout's line drive to shortstop Gregorio Petit to end the game was the third-hardest hit ball in the Majors this year and the hardest hit by an Angels player since Statcast™ was introduced in 2015. It was also the first out ever recorded on a ball hit that hard in the air since '15.

"Maybe check Petit's hand," Molitor said with a laugh. "See how he's feeling. You're going to get fastball-change and he's such a good hitter. We all know if he elevates the ball there with that type of exit speed, it's a different outcome. Some of the misfortune, maybe it turned around for us."
