Because work has had me superly occupied this week, I missed where Ohtani went on the DL. Thats sucks.
Well, that could have been a whole lot worse. Bases loaded, 2 outs, 3-2 count for Trout. Fortunately, Lynn gets a fastball past Trout to end the inning.
on the board
ESCOBaaarrr....dang. We'll take it though
Overheard in section 104:
“...and that’s why you Millenials will never have a house and a career! As a tax paying homeowner...”
Urge to rant rising...
Show of hands: How many know that they're now called just the Los Angeles Angels? "of Anaheim" was dropped two years ago
Yep.
yes, although I would have guessed four years ago
I did not know that
The lease that required the Angels to include Anaheim in the named expired. When Arte Moreno bought the team, he wanted to market it to all of L.A. but the lease with the city of Anaheim required Anaheim to be in the name, so he started that ridiculous Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. When I was a sports copy editor, our style was to just use Angels. We would never use Anaheim or Los Angeles.
We would never use ... Los Angeles.
What about in the Spanish edition?
But I did not know that about the name change.
GROSS!
Gross, man!
I'd like to see Lynn rewarded for his start; we'll see
we've seen
I hate Kinsler.
Figures. He's hitting .212/.277/.363.
I dont like that Reed ha turned into a pumpkin lately
