ROCHESTER 2, SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 1 IN SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE
Nick Gordon's RBI single in the seventh broke a 1-1 tie. The RailRiders did not get a man past first after that.
Gordon was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Jon Kemmer was 0-for-4 and is batting .083.
Adalberto Mejia pitched six innings, giving up one run on three hits and three walks and striking out three. His ERA is 2.56. Trevor May pitched a perfect inning. Gabriel Moya struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit. His ERA is 1.46.
CHATTANOOGA 7, MONTGOMERY 6 IN CHATTANOOGA
The Lookouts led 7-1 after three and held on. The Biscuits scored three in the ninth and had the tying run on second base. Chattanooga had just five hits but drew seven walks.
Ryan Walker was 1-for-3 with a home run (his fourth) and a walk, driving in four. Jordan Gore was 1-for-4 and is batting .308. Zander Wiel was 0-for-2 with two walks and two runs and is batting .306.
Lewis Thorpe pitched just 1.2 innings due to his upcoming appearance in the Futures Game. He gave up an unearned run on no hits and no walks and struck out two. Paco Rodriguez pitched two shutout innings, giving up a walk and striking out one. Todd Van Steensel struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up two walks. His ERA is 2.36.
PALM BEACH 4, FORT MYERS 2 IN FORT MYERS
Brian O'Keefe hit a three-run homer in the first inning and it was all the Cardinals needed. The Miracle had the tying run on base when the game ended.
Miguel Sano was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs and is batting .328.
Tyler Wells struck out six in six innings, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks. His ERA is 2.85. Ryan Mason pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a hit and striking out one. His ERA is 2.64. Colton Davis struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up one hit but four walks.
CEDAR RAPIDS 6, FORT WAYNE 2 IN CEDAR RAPIDS
Akil Baddoo hit a two-run double in a three-run second that gave the Kernels a 4-0 lead. It was 6-0 before the TinCaps got their only runs of the game in the ninth.
Trey Cabbage was 4-for-4 with a home run, his seventh, and two RBIs. Robby Rinn was 2-for-4 and is batting .319. Baddoo was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Royce Lewis was 0-for-3 and is batting .316.
Bailey Ober had his fifth good game out of six, striking out ten in 6.2 scoreless innings while giving up five hits and a walk. In that span, his ERA has fallen by three and a half runs, from 7.86 to 4.36. Jose Martinez pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up a hit and striking out one.
ELIZABETHTON 7, JOHNSON CITY 2 IN JOHNSON CITY
The Twins scored four in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie. It was 7-1 before the Cardinals scored in the ninth.
Tyler Webb made his Appy League debut and decided there was nothing to it, going 4-for-5 with two RBIs. Michael Helman made his professional debut and was about as good, going 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs. Alex Robles was 3-for-5. Michael Davis was 2-for-4 and is batting .429. Lean Marrero was 2-for-6 with two runs and is batting .300. Ryan Jeffers was 0-for-4 and is batting .379. The Twins had sixteen hits, fifteen of them singles.
Carlos Suniaga pitched five innings, giving up one run on six hits and no walks and striking out three.

The Twins trailed 2-0, led 3-2, were tied 3-3, went ahead 4-3, and fell behind 5-4 before getting three in the seventh and two in the eighth. Jesus Feliz hit a three-run homer in the seventh to put the Twins ahead to stay.
Carlos Aguiar was 2-for-3 with a home run (his second) and a walk, scoring twice and driving in three. Jeferson Morales was 2-for-3 with a double and is batting .333. Victor Heredia was 1-for-3 with a walk and is batting .360. Ruben Santana was 0-for-5 and is batting .345.
Yordin Mateo struck out four in four innings, giving up two runs on four hits and one walk. Giovahniey German pitched a scoreless inning, giving up a walk and striking out one. Jose Guevera struck out two in a perfect inning to drop his ERA to 0.98.
