Would Mussina even be in the HOF, if it wasn't for The Twins? He should at least acknowledge the team in his speech.
Along with the Royals and Tigers. Amusingly, the team he did the worst against, with at least 100 IP, were the Orioles.
in 33 apprearances, 941 PA, he held Twins' batters to a slash line of 247/292/364, compared to 255/297/399 overall for his career. So, yea, I guess.
More importantly, he was 22-6.
I'd love to see his run support vs the Twins compared to overall.
Pretty good overall. Quick math says 195 runs scored for him compared to 109 scored against him and any relievers. 195 runs scored means the O's/Y's averaged 5.9 runs per game.

I think I like it, but its hard to gauge without the jersey being worn by a human.
I really do not care for this creeping gold trend. They have no history with it, and they haven’t won a World Series in nearly three decades. It’s plain tacky.
Part of me thinks this is a "cash grab" to get people to buy another jersey but I never see anyone wearing these alternatives. I'd love to see sales reports on alternative jersey's, Memorial Day caps in camoflague, throwbacks, etc. Or is it just an activity for the marketing staff and sponsors to engage in to stay busy? That would be an interesting (to me), off-the-record conversation with Dave St. Peter.
Apparently it's replacing the cream ones. I've seen those around quite a bit.
If this means the cream jerseys go away, I'm militantly opposed.
Oh, heck no. Those cream throwbacks are some of the best in the game. They should be the primary unis.

I hate to inflate his ego, but the doc's Bihari Green Beans continue to be a staple week to week in the slaughterhouse. We use tofu and chickpeas because mushrooms are the devil's work. Seriously good eating.

I know I've shoveled between 10pm and midnight before (don't own a blower). I hate getting all hot & sweaty & ice-coated before work.
And I'm a lot better at staying up late than at getting up early.

Shoveling would have been ok, since its quiet. But this dude lives adjacent to numerous houses with elementary school aged kids, and it was just the plow leavings so he could have parked on the street until morning. I also strongly dislike this person in general.
If I'd had a blower, I'd've blown on those days when I shoveled late.
