One nice thing about a quality daytime game victory is the extra time to savor it.

I think I've said this before but the SkorNorth podcast with Phil Mackey and Glen Perkins is pretty cool. Lots of deep dives on pitching, approach to pitching etc. Definitely recommended.
Just heard "Baby Shark" at JazzFest, so that happened.

Trying to decide if I’ll willingly turn on a Twins-Yanks game this weekend.
I plan to. I figure I should give Baldelli the benefit of the doubt here.
Same. The Gardenhire curse has to be lifted by now. I'm actually more worried about the Jays leg of this trip but it will be a good test for this team.
I am very impressed with everyone's benefit of the doubt and dreamy curse-lifting minds.
I'm also going into this series thinking winning 1 of 3 is good,because I do still have a lot of Yankees scars in my psyche.
