I feel like this is a good team, but in order for this all to work, they're going to have to vanquish these pinstriped hacks.
The curse ends here. Let's hope for a pleasing Odor.

My olfactory sense is not offended. But we’re gonna need to bang a few out of this bandbox.
I think he's going to have a great game. I picked him up and then left him out of my fantasy lineup today.
Oh, looks like this game log is miscategorized as a game recap, with a cup of coffee image. Half bakef as it ever was.
The image was intentional, the category was a miss.
GarvHR.
Ribeyes.
So we just needed a catcher that could hit.
Dick: “The Twins have had some terrible success in this ballpark.”
Oh, man. So, so close.
Good robbery by Maybin.
On replay, either he catches that ball or a kid takes it in the face.
Well, i guess I can live with the way it played out.
One hell of a catch, but I really wanted those three runs.
2Buxton
I wonder what Buxton's scoring rate is compare to average? He had 22 hits, 6 walks and 1 HBP before today, with 15 runs scored. 51% Sounds good?
2018 avg H/BB/HBP per game: 12.07. Avg runs = 4.45. ~37%.
What about the average for #1 and #9 (AL) hitters?
Hello friends.
meeeeaaaat!
Had my hands full of birthday cake at the time, but I just wanted to say that I hate our pitchers issuing walks, but I like when their runners are stranded
Think of it as trading extra-base hits for walks when it's the Yankees.
So much anxiety for a 4 run lead late in the game.
That certainly isn't helping the anxiety.
Uh, belt high 91 mph fastballs aren't going to cut it.Double plays will cut it.Only the 51st double play of Gardner's career
A most Prudential blast.
That makes things better.
I like using Rogers here. He throws strikes,
Saweet. Now back to seasoning cast iron.
new pan or reseason? if the latter, what's your method?
A little of both. I may whip up a post considering the number of cooks out here.
Car duty here. New EVAP control valve solenoid and a headlight lens recondition on the daughter’s Forester. Former done, latter pending.
I wish you were my neighbor.
Good, good game.
Now for the series win in New York.
Nice win. In the Bronx, even.
Schoop has been very good lately. I was skeptical when they picked him up, but so far, he's been proving me wrong.
I'm calling it: might take a bit, but Marwin will (eventually) come through in big way. I don't know what exactly that means, but it's going to happen.
It's a good call. His career numbers in April are very poor. He traditionally picks it up after that.
That's what Hinch was saying when the Twins were playing the Astros. Gonzalez traditionally gets off to slow starts and then heats up. He and Schoop have both been basically league average hitters for their careers. Both had one big year that people remember. Schoop's advantage is being 3 years younger than Gonzalez.
I'll be happy if he outperforms Dozier
So far, that hasn't been very hard to do.
Yeah, it seems like second basemen tend to age early and quickly for whatever reason.
Yesterday I worked on a Saturday for the first time all year. So naturally the Twins beat the Yankees on a day I could have listened to them on my deck in 73 degree weather.
So, uh, you're working today then, right?
Apologies in advance for my day off.
Similarly I had prior engagements during most of the game yesterday and missed the first 7 innings. Because the game today was pushed back, I was able to finish choring before it starts, so I also apologize for
Michael Pineda startingbeing available to watch.I think Pineda is a lot more excited to be pitching today than we are for him to be pitching
