The return of Big Mike. Cleveland recently came into Arlington and took it to the Rangers. I’m hopeful (though with some reservations) that the Twins realize their potential tonight.
The Twins broke the hearts of Brewers fans on Tuesday, and the Brewers returned the favor yesterday. Let’s get back to the Tuesday feels.
Spiders up 7-0 in first. Thanks Yankees
and the ass bats force this guy to throw 7 pitches to get 3 outs to start the game.
Less assy in the second.
A bit yes. This is what they mean by "easier" schedule I think.
Actually, the Rangers were the best team the Indians had won a series from in like 2 months before winning the series from the Twins.
Love that humid Texas air
SoCal prescient
Called it!
That looked embarrassing
Sano on pace for 9 k's tonight.
What would a 9 strike out game be called? Dantes' Inferno?

Seems we'll probably not find out tonight.
Strangely enough he's sporting the highest OPS of anyone in tonight's lineup.
Enjoying a hard cider in the outdoor seating at Good News Brewing in O'Fallon MO. Good game so far
Pile em on fellas
Welp, there goes the rally.
Ah, butt for the Rangers.
Score so many runs that the bullpen can't possibly blow the lead. That's strategery.
Danny Santana has 19 HR and bats ,310? "Our" Danny Santana?
Still had a slightly better OPS+ in '14 in 80 more PAs. Don't look in between. It's not for the squeamish.
Okay, that's one...
Come on, Big Mike - we're up by 10, please try and get some innings in, huh?
Philo with the 2fer!
Rangers really desperate to try scoring.
And they manage to screw up holding up at third. See, it could be worse.
That is the worst inning I have ever seen.
I'm pretty sure you have spreadsheets that could prove otherwise.
My "stats in games attended" spreadsheet sadly doesn't have a "worst inning" tracker.
"baseball"
I'm a big Arraez fan.
Can Arraez be my new favorite player? Please.
If anyone had Arreaz as part of a dinger Daily Double, I will eat my hat.
Twins need one more run. They've never lost when scoring 14 or more runs. The Senators lost once when scoring 14 runs, in 1924. I'm sure most of us remember the last time the Twins lost when scoring 13 runs in 2009. That was in a game against the A's. The starting pitcher was Gio Gonzalez, who started yesterday against the Twins and once again benefited from a poor Twins bullpen.
Unfortunately, I remember this mess
BS (14)
He who shall not be named.
Prediction: After tonight's game, Smeltzer gets sent down (an easy call) and the Twins call up Graterol.
Ugh, stupid unwritten rules. Why should Cave have to not try to get a hit?
And now they threaten Kepler's livelihood because Cave tried to get a hit. Seriously, fuck baseball players.
Smalley calls it "perfect"
Refresh my memory — does Smalley believe climate change is a hoax?
As far as i can tell, he only believes in the big end of the bat
It's Jake F. Cave. Maybe just get him out instead, huh?
That's pretty stupid. Get over yourself, Rangers.
I had no idea Logan Forsythe was still in the majors.
Doesn't Delino Deshields have to be at least, like 50 by now.
50 years, 212 days!
!! Three inning save?
Nice groundskeeping performance by Smeltzer. Not perfect by far, but kept the bullpen door closed
Four-inning save. Take that Wes Littleton.
And his reward for that performance is a trip to Rochester.
Yankees with 3 homers. Lead still 14 with 2 games in hand
