Game 52 – Kansas City @ Minnesota

Brad Keller v. Matt Shoemaker

The Twins started the month of May by scoring 7 runs in one inning against Keller. It's only right that they finish the month the same way.

In writing out the starting pitcher matchup, I can't help but notice that Matt Shoemaker is still in the rotation. Three of his last four stats have been good, and as long as the ball stays in the yard, he's finding a little success.

Yet another Sunday rubber match for the Twins. I'm pretty sure every Sunday game this season has come with the Twins having split the two games before them. So far Minnesota is 3-3 on Sundays, so the weekends have been pretty much a wash.

      1. I have no problem riding Refsnyder as long as he stays hot. I just hope the team is aware that's all this is, a hot streak, and not an indication of how he'll bat long-term.

  1. I'm on radio, but it sounds like the Twins' defensive deficiencies are showing up this inning, even though there are no errors.

  2. This is anecdotal, but it seems like the Twins play the infield in a lot, and like it doesn't work all that often.

    1. Yeah I'm listening to the Spanish broadcast and it sounds bad there also.

  3. Dazzle saying Donaldson should've scored there. Of course, if the Twins bring him in anyway, it won't matter.

  4. Bases loaded, none out, and we score one. That wouldn't hurt as badly if we could ever do it to the other team.

  5. A very frustrating loss. The Twins missed too many chances and gave away too many outs.
