Solo HRs don't hurt. Unless you are CFer who doesn't know where the fence is.
Weird case where hitting straight into the shift probably saved a GIDP.
Nellie Cruz is sluuuuuuumping
Robot Umps Now.
Sauce, Please.
Lopez shaking his head now about the ump. Dude.
Dazzle does not seem to think much of Pat Valaika.
Man, Berrios has been good. Granted, vs a 4A team, but still.
Just noted the poppy on the jerseys. Nice, understated touch.
So, are we getting a regulation walkoff or a fake game walkoff?
Berrios still in? Wow.
Ok, Taylor. Shut it down. Berrios does not deserve a loss in this game.
I don't understand why you let Berrios start the ninth and then take him out after a bloop single. It seems like it would be better to either take him out to start the inning or give him the chance to work out of it.
That's why, apparently!
First pitch, 96, center cut. Do not do that again.
Nice. On to Free Baseball.
On to FreeFake Baseball.
We got him over. Can we get him in?
Yes, with a Dazzle special!
Example 6 billion why the Manfred Rules suck. Leadoff hitter chops an easy out to deep 2nd. And that puts a man on 3rd with one out. Ugh.
Like I said. Twins probably win this game without a batter reaching base or a ball leaving the infield.
TWINS BASEBALL!!
TWINS BASEBALL!!
TWINS BASEBALL!!!
Dazzle, the Orioles still get to bat. They haven't lost this game yet.
That was a meatball.
POLANCO!!!!! A huge insurance run.
About five more would be nice.
Where was this offense for the first nine?
"This offense" consisted of a solo home run by Polanco. The other run was a gift by Manfred and the Orioles.
Followed by a double and a ball hit to the fence.
Which added up to nothing.
Lineup was not going to give Jose a win.
Damn. Warning Track Power. Eat some Wheaties, Alex.
Or fix the wrist. It's still injured and he's playing while the pain is manageable.
Here we go again.
Pulling Rogers after six pitches. Ridiculous.
How many pitches did Rogers throw?
Answer: six.
Robles is a little wild....
But maybe a GIDP to end it here?
Big K.
16 straight wins against the Os
That was easy.
Extra inning winning streak!
Well, a win's a win, I guess. Berrios pitched very well. The offense was facing a starter with a career ERA of six, and little better this year, and managed to scratch across one run which the Orioles basically handed to them. But we're not in a position to sneer at a win, however we get it.
On the board!
This game is being played at a brisk pace
Let's see which pitcher hits the wall first
Turns out Refsnyder hit the wall first.
😂
Refsynder pulled a Butch Huskey
I'm legit LOLing at that
