A fielder's choice brought home the deciding run.

Roy Morales was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and two RBIs.
Elliot Soto was 2-for-5 with a home run (his second) and two runs.

Andrew Cabezas pitched a scoreless inning, giving up two hits and a walk.

The Wind Surge is 28-19, in first place in the Texas League North, a half game ahead of Tulsa.

CEDAR RAPIDS 8, LANSING 5 IN LANSING

Leading 4-3, the Kernels scored four in the eighth.

Charles Mack was 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs.
Christian Encarnacion-Strand was 2-for-5 with a double.

The Kernels are 31-18, in first place in the Midwest League West, one game ahead of Wisconsin.
