COLUMBUS 4, ST. PAUL 3 IN COLUMBUS

Franmil Reyes singled home the deciding run in the ninth.

Kyle Garlick was 2-for-3 with a home run (his third) and a walk.
Spencer Steer was 1-for-5 with a home run, his ninth.

Cole Sands pitched four innings, giving up one run on five hits and two walks and striking out three.
Ian Hamilton pitched a perfect inning, striking out one.
Jovani Moran struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

The Saints are 32-32, in sixth place in the International League West, a half-game behind fifth place Gwinnett, seven games behind Nashville.

TULSA 2, WICHITA 1 IN TULSA

Leonel Valera hit a two-run homer in the seventh.

Andrew Bechtold was 2-for-3 with a walk.
DaShawn Keirsey, Jr. was 2-for-4 with a double.
Cole Sturgeon was 1-for-4 with a home run, his fourth.
Matt Wallner was 0-for-1 with three walks.

Daniel Gossett struck out five in five innings, giving up three hits and no walks.
Byran Sammons struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.
Jordan Gore pitched a scoreless inning, walking one and striking out one.

The Wind Surge is 33-28, in third place in the Texas League North, a half-game behind second place Arkansas, 2.5 games behind Tulsa.

CEDAR RAPIDS 9, DAYTON 5 IN CEDAR RAPIDS

Leading 4-2, the Kernels scored four in the sixth.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand was 3-for-5 with a double and two runs.
Alerick Soularie was 2-for-4 with a home run (his sixth), a walk, and two runs.
Wander Javier was 2-for-5 with a home run (his fifth) and two RBIs.
Will Holland was 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, and two RBIs.
Kyler Fedco was 0-for-2 with three walks.

Cade Povich struck out eleven in five innings, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks.
Miguel Rodriguez struck out three in two perfect innings.

The Kernels are 40-22, in first place in the Midwest League West, 5.5 games ahead of Wisconsin.  The Kernels have clinched the first half championship.

FORT MYERS 5, BRADENTON 4 IN FORT MYERS

The Mighty Mussels scored four in the fourth and built a 5-1 lead before the Marauders scored three in the eighth.

Luis Baez was 2-for-3.
Rubel Cespedes was 2-for-4 with a double.
Jake Rucker was 2-for-4.
Kala'i Rosario was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer (his seventh) and a walk.

Marco Raya struck out five in 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up one walk.
Matt Mullenbach struck out four in 2.1 innings, giving up an unearned run on two hits.
Niklas Rimmel struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up one hit.
John Wilson struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

The Mighty Mussels are 39-22, in first place in the Florida State League West, eight games ahead of Bradenton.  The Mighty Mussels have clinched the first half championship.
