The Saints scored three in the eighth to break a 1-1 tie.

Caleb Hamilton was 1-for-4 with a home run, his eighth.

Dereck Rodriguez pitched four innings, giving up one run on three hits and no walks and striking out two.
Tyler Viza pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and striking out one.
Drew Strotman pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and striking out one.
Evan Sisk pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk and striking out one.
Austin Schulfer pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.
Yennier Cano pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

The Saints are 39-39, in fifth place in the International League West, 1.5 games behind fourth-place Toledo, nine games behind Nashville.

WICHITA 5, AMARILLO 3 IN WICHITA

The Wind Surge scored three in the first and two in the fifth.  All their runs scored on home runs.

Matt Wallner was 2-for-4 with two home runs (his nineteenth and twentieth) and three RBIs.

Leading 5-4, the Kernels scored seven in the eighth.

Seth Gray was 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.
Yunior Severino was 2-for-4 with a home run (his third), three runs, and two RBIs.
Kyler Fedco was 2-for-4 with a triple, a walk, and two RBIs.
Pat Winkel was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.
Alerick Soularie was 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs.

Starter Miguel Rodriguez pitched three innings, giving up two runs on three hits and no walks and striking out two.
