  1. The Twins and Guardians didn't get their TV money from Diamond Sports this month, so MLB has filed a motion for the TV rights to revert back to those teams on April 13 (or get paid). The Diamondbacks still haven't been paid but it happened before bankruptcy so they're a creditor.

The brief article ended with the estimated amounts owed:

MLB’s motion was redacted and did not publicly disclose how much money the teams are due. But a source close to Diamond said the Guardians’ annual fee is $55 million and the Twins is $42 million.

  2. I see that

  3. In semi-finals match against BU, Gopher hockey team hit iron three times that I counted, had two goals disallowed under pretty questionable calls and still won 6-2 (includes 2 ENG).

At times it felt like a Minnesota sports team playoff performance where the team does everything right but score and end up losing. BU was pretty undisciplined with the penalties however and Gophers made them pay.

      1. Those teams were all about stupid crazy fun, right? I mean, I only vaguely have a sense of this, since I was too young to understand, but they were beloved before they brought home a championship for precisely this type of thing, right?
