  1. They need to fix how they do the defensive team. McDaniels plays against guards over half the time but went against forwards in the voting.

      1. True.

It feels like it's popular to just assume that everything Timberwolves is terrible. They certainly deserve their reputation but the level of disrespect from national media is something.

        1. For real, and it definitely bleeds into how they are officiated. That halftime show of the play-in games against the Lakers was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen

  2. Mags alert

    1. My heart wants to get in shape and try to play the fall season.

Every other single part of my body is like "WTF? No, idiot"

  3. In case you’re wondering not only if Correa is off to the worst start of a season in his career, but how they stack up…well, it’s bad:

    Season WPA wRC+ wOBA
    2023 -0.89 72 .274
    2022 -0.32 118 .331
    2021 0.27 94 .306
    2020 -0.46 115 .338
    2019 0.09 142 .381
    2018 0.14 144 .377
    2017 0.42 126 .356
    2016 0.47 141 .375
    2015 0.91 126 .351

Correa has already blown past his worst full-season WPA mark (-0.73 in 2018) in just 32 games, so the hole from which he would have to dig himself in order to be a key contributor in close games is significant.

    1. Yeah its pretty ugly. It'll turn around, but it looks extra bad with everyone having A$$ bats.

      1. He turned it around in 2018, but it gives you a good idea of how hard it is to get out of the “unclutch” hole after turning it around and going on a tear.

  4. Received a few dealer quotes with “market adjustments” included in the off-the-lot price. (Dealers are quoting MSRP in their comms to buyers, but beware the “market adjustment” lurking underneath, often appended with “5 year dent & ding protection” as a line item.) Have replied back saying we have excellent insurance, and we’ll make an immediate deposit for MSRP + TTL. I doubt anyone bites, but you never know.
