1. Holy crap, don't look now but the Royals now have a worse winning percentage than the A's.

   1. A's are fresh off a seven-game win streak while the Royals are now at nine straight in losing. Now both are closer to 2003 Tigers than '62 Mets.

   2. There are very few teams with worse 1-run record than the Twins, yet only the Tigers have won more extra-inning games. The Padres are exceedingly bad at both.

   3. And they lost Vinny Pasquatino for the season

   1. Where do we enter the pool on how many games before he gets injured again?

      2. I'm not a fan of Kepler but Larnach hasn't shown much, yet. I can't say I'm upset with him being sent down.

            Trevor Larnach batted .172/.270/.354 for six weeks before being demoted in May. He was down for two weeks before injury opened a spot and then hit .182/.280/.364 in eight games. Let him figure it out in the minors for a while and hopefully force a move with Kepler.

               What would Larnach have to figure out in the minors to force a move with a guy who has had three seasons to figure it out in the majors and still an OPS+ nearly twenty points lower?

      1. The Howard Terminal proposal looked pretty neat, but there’s no way I would condone giving a nickel of public money to Fisher & Kaval.
