  1. Glendale defeated the Mesa Solar Sox 2-0 yesterday. Andrew Cossetti was 0-for-3 and scored a run. Kala'i Rosario and Aaron Sabato were each 0-for-4. A. J. Labas struck out two in a scoreless inning, giving up one hit.

    1. For a guy who was supposed to be a fast riser, Sabato looks like he’s just about exhausted his time in the organization. I believe he’s Rule 5 eligible this offseason. Looks like a future Oakland Athletic to me.

  2. Yesterday was a pretty fun day around these parts. To have our business honored by the local chamber of commerce and economic development commission was incredible. If you follow the link, there are pictures and a link to a video about our business that was made for us. The videographers are 2 Alexandria HS grads from 2018 who started their own business. They both did high school projects with our business back in the day, so it was cool to come full circle and work with them again. 450+ people showed up for the luncheon and award ceremony. It was quite an emotional rollercoaster of a day. We celebrated last night with a private event at the joint with Michael Shynes providing the tunes. What a day!

My son and I will be heading down to the cities soon to watch the Twins. We will be in the front row in the last section down the left field line. I am going to try to avoid any Bartman type situations.

    1. Section 127, next to the Grey Duck bar and the Red Cow burger stand. Excellent kosher franks behind the left field bleachers, Hmong Union Kitchen by the foul pole, Original Fried Chicken behind the batter's eye. That's premium field fare territory.

  3. I'm going to live vicariously through you guys again during tonight's game -- and I'm hoping many other Twins playoff games-- until our Italian vacation (in a god-forsaken time zone) is over. A repeat of last night's game would be nice, please. Oh, and Wallner's got another pending HBP, btw...

  4. CC to the techie citizens. I am contemplating adding a satellite to my home mesh (Netgear Orbi RBR750/RBS750) when our renovation is done. But add-on satellites are spendy. Amazon has RBS750s for $249.

Is it even possible to add another brand of satellite and get it to work?

Currently, I have one of our two satellites mothballed (because our second floor is inaccessible) and one in an outbuilding (a "studio" that was once a detached, one-car garage).

Previously, I had both satellites in our upstairs, on opposite sides of the building. That is maybe/probably necessary to restore, but I really want to have a unit in the studio so that I have robust connectivity on our patio, which is behind the studio.

    Idears?

Probably not. I would not be surprised if it's a custom backhaul protocol that is impossible for other brands to use. Quick searching says confirms that.

        1. I thought about it, but I didn't really want to open up more walls. Maybe that was short-sighted.

Not necessarily, and not too late. Baseboards can be functional as well as decorative.
